Did Apple Store sell me a used 3g? [Archive]

I just purchased my 3g late last night. Still a 2 hour wait at 9pm.

I saw the phone come out of the sealed box. But, it came with a bad pixel and I can't figure out why the following is the way it is:

Settings/General/Usage/Call Time/Current Period = 19 Hours, 35 Min.

Settings/General/Usage/Call Time/Lifetime = 3 Days, 3 Hours

"Last Reset: 5/26/08 7:54 PM"

Would these numbers have been transfered over from my old iPhone when I restored my 3g from my 1st gen back up?
If so, how would you ever know the true life of the phone?

It's also a little tough to get a warranty replacement when all of the 3g's are sold out locally.

Any suggestions or input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

That's weird. My current period and lifetime are both 8 minutes. My last reset is "never".

Definitely something to check out. Maybe call Apple Store or AT&T and tell them?

Did you restore from an original iPhone backup?

Wow. That is definitely weird.

If I were you, I would definitely take it back.

I restored from back up and that info didnt transfer over...

My lifetime usage transferred from my V1 to my 3G. Seems to be the case unless you set up your phone as a "new iPhone".

is there a full usage time, cause mines only telling me since last charge.
