View Full Version : Now that my old v1 case doesn't fit my 3G, what case do ppl recommend?

...had a great Vaja i-Volution for my v1....but after upgrading to 3G, i gotta sell it since it doesn't fit the 3G version---

and wanted to see what other ppl recommend for cases these days---thx

I just ordered the Griffin NuForm. I plan on going with the Incase slider when it comes out, as I thought that was the best case I tried on my v1.

(I used the code FIREWORKS on the Griffin website for 20% the order:laugh2:)

The Incase isn't available anywhere yet.

The Griffin Nu Form is on the Apple website but not sure about the actual retail locations. With the coupon code, I was able to get 2nd day air for the regular price of the case.

FWIW I was gonna call the Apple store but figured they'd be too swamped, and the closest one is 45 mins away so I wasn't gonna drive to find out...

I saw the NuForm at the Apple store when I got my phone yesterday. They had a bunch of them.

I just ordered the IvolutionSP, Black with a purple stripe, embossed with my name, email and telephone #. I also got the heavy duty belt clip for it.

Too bad it's gonna take 45 days to get it. (Only $117.00 inc. shipping)

Expenxive and a long wait.. but worth it... The best case I have found.

I am used to buying custom leather cases for my devices so it's just the waiting that will kill me.

i say get a pouch they should fit the new iphone just fine
