Anyone know if it is bad to leave the phone on during it's first charge? I turned it off, but when I plugged it in, the phone turned back on. Is it harmful to the battery if I don't turn it off for the first charge? Any advise would help. Thanks!

with today's batteries i don't think it matters too much... back in the day i think it made more of a difference

You can leave it on or off. It doesn't really matter one way or the other. Some people use the phone as their alarm clock and charge at the same time so the phone is obviously on when doing this.
