Anyone tried sharing an app yet?

Has anyone been able to install an app on their phone that came from someone else's computer? Just curious if there will soon be a flood of apps on P2P sites.

This probably only works if you give the person your iTunes password, because that is the only way to do it with downloaded iTunes music/video. I am more concerned about getting my apps onto my iPhone 3G. Luckily I have only bought 1 so far, and the rest have been free.
