Keyboard Delay in 2.0

I updated my iPhone to 2.0 today, and it just seems the keyboard is kinda delayed a little. It seems to lag behind, and its just not as quick as v1.1.4. Is this just my phone, or is everyone else noticing this?

Yea it seems to be pretty delayed, and is quite annoying when your a fast typer.
Although I love update 2.0 this is going to be a problem.

i would get a delay when a page was loading

Its happening every time I have a keyboard up, which is mostly while text messaging.

Noticed a little in safari, but just did an email and it was ok.

Thats weird, maybe sometime in the next few days I'll do a restore. Theres no way I would do it now, unless I want to get stuck in the "emergency call" stage for hours.

Wow I didn't notice the keyboard is smaller, but indeed it is much smaller than the original keyboard!

Makes sense. With the large landscape keyboard in 1.x.x, you can only see about 2 lines of text above it. Smaller is a much better idea.

I'm not really seeing any delay with 2.0. Typing a TXT is just a zippy as it always was.

Also, anybody else notice that when you type passwords on a webpage or dialog box that were previously *'d out, the last letter you type is visible until you type the next one (or for a few seconds anyway). Nice for those that don't look at the keyboard when they type PWs

the landscape keyboard keys are a lil bigger and the bottom row buttons are smaller so the letter keys can be a little bigget, but yea...i dont like how the keyboard is a litttle laggy, makes texting harder lol

ya i noticed that too, much better. And another user pointed our that holding down .com brings up .net, etc...

I think Apple put out 2.0 , with not checking fully.
And now the new iTunes is all screwed up too.

I notivced the delay in the "leaked" release on Thursday, but I thought it would be fixed by the official update. I was disappointed when it wasn't.

i have noticed this too. Another thing that kind of annoys me a bit, is when i'm entering a password somewhere. You can see the character you type on the screen as you enter it in. That never happened on the previous firmware(s). Let's say my pw is iphone. it would look like this when i typing.
