OK, thanks...when I read the threads about problems people were having, I thought something might be wrong with my itunes or something. I take it they don't have "official" copies?

No, but it actually should have been out 20 minutes ago.

Says i'm up to date as well. Not sure why some get it and some don't, but maybe this is their way of keeping the bandwidth together.

9:12 AM in new york and i'm still upto date with the 1.1.4 update.
9:15 here in Atlanta and I'm upgrading. I had to do a Restore since I upgraded early yesterday with the pre-release code but doing a Restore gave me a dialog box describing the new stuff in 2.0 then the download started.

update to 2.0 problems...
installed seemed to go fine... but now it looks like it is trying to connect to iTunes and cannot... my network connection is perfectly fine and error is "We could not complete your iTunes store request. The network connection timed out."
Too many folks hitting iTunes???
Only thing I can do with my iPhone (v1.0) is make an emergency call....
Anyone.... Bueller? Bueller?

WTF? My phone is 1.1.3, and I had already downloaded 1.1.4 months ago, but never installed.
Now, trying to get 2.0, and when I clicked "update" on iTunes (where it tells me 1.1.4 is the newer version), I get a window that says something about 2.0. When I click OK, the 1.1.4 turns into 2.0.
Then, when I restart iTunes, it goes back to 1.1.4?
Any suggestions?

Did no one see this coming? Really?
As much as I love Apple, this doesn't surprise me at all.

They may have removed the update completely to free up the activation servers. They probably won't all those people that bought new phones today to have first dibs on the servers.

ok so yesterday i installed the unofficial 2.0 release, and now i want to install the offical 2.0 firmware.
but when i click on "check for update" it says im already running the current version, so then i choose "restore" and i get this error message:
"There was a problem downloading for the iPhone. The requested resource was not found"
any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried again? Things seem to be working better now.
