Guess a time. I'm guessing 8AM eastern tomorrow.

I've already done it, but you know how some people are. They like to do everything by the book. I'm just wondering how long Apple is going to make the masses wait.

tomorrow's a safe bet I think.
There shouldn't be any difference between the version you can download today and the update through itunes tomorrow or whenever right? Technically couldn't they make a chance that those who downloaded not through itunes would not get.

No kidding! You don't want to chance an estimate on the release time?

Obviously tomorrow, as Apple stated, but as I'm from the UK, I'll just get the update after I get back from work.

Some of those mac guys over at mac rumors found it on the servers ready for download. It hasn't been put on the Update system yet, but it can be downloaded from the apple servers.

You obviously haven't worked as a software engineer :)
It's possible they could make some changes, like removing some debug code, without requiring further testing but you're right, the chances of them doing that is pretty slim.
