That's the new iPhone security system. Just smudge it all over with fingerprints, and a record of who touched it will be preserved until the next iPhone wipe.

The smudges on the back of the phone were the first thing I noticed; I hope it was because they were eating a bagful of doughnuts or fries as they unpacked it!

Unless you add a case to it, then you don't need to worry about the back:2cool:

The smudges are pretty distracting, WOW!!!
As anyone seen the other pics from Sweden?? I don't recognize that screen shot. Is that a modified keypad screen for V.2.0

I wonder how he got his hands on one early. Not fair. The smudges don't seem to me as if they would be that hard to avoid/wipe away.

After you drop it a couple of times, who can tell whether they are smudges or scratches.

Very valid point. I still say that white is going to look worse after extended use.
Does anyone know the back story on this mystery man that got the iPhone early?

If you're talking about the "displayed iPhone 3G" then yes I saw those pics as well. They're a bit blurry though.

Does the iPhone 3G rock back and forth cause of the rounded back?
-It looked pretty "stationery" on table :)
Youngbinks

I don't think it's going to "rock back and forth" like everyone is thinking. It doesn't seem to be as curved a back as we all initially thought and expected.

WOW! Those are GR8 shots!! Thanx a lot! I can just imagine after waiting in line for an hour or two or who knows how long, how dirty and oily and sweaty wet/damp your hands will be. They should offer a cleaning towelette or something before you put your hands on the phone. After all that waiting and anticipation when we do get our grubby hands on the phone it is going to be a fingerprinty mess. I think I'll bring some towelettes with me.

Blargh, my greasy fried chicken paws are going to fudge that phone up. I may just have to go with the white 16GB (though looks like there may not be any left by the time I get to it). I could always just give up my greasy food habits or just wear gloves (with one finger tip cut out) to save it from the torture of fast food hands.

Well now that you made it THAT big.....
:tounge:
Um, no. I think that's the universal PSU and the adapter for the specific country. Although if that is the PSU in the top compartment, it does look quite different from the norm.

Yeah I hate those plugs
-Cause when my dad was stationed to Germany they used 220v, and when we move into our house the military provides "transformers" that switch the electrical power to our 110v(American) electronics. And when we moved in I was eager to play my playstation so I took some random plug transformer and plugged it in, and when I turned my playstation on it FRIED my playstaion :( I was crying my ass off, but some how my dad fixed it :laugh2:
