streaming music is much more important to me than listening to saved music. i was prepared to buy the iphone on 7/11 until i saw the samsung omnia. i prefer the iphone, but i have to stream music. will you be able to stream music to the iphone?

Yes, the client is called Orb. I can already stream on the current iPhone with Orb, but it will be even better with 3G speeds. You install Orb on your PC, then navigate to the address on your iPhone and your streaming music.

The iPhone also has the ability to stream via the built-in Quick Time player and Safari. Point Safari to the RSS link containing, for example, the podcast.

Also, AOL Music and Yahoo! Launch Music player will be available via the app store this Friday. They are free but ad supported. (I'm not positive about Yahoo but I am about AOL.)

the omnia looks really nice. i currently have a treo 750, and i like winmo. knowing i can stream music to the iphone though definitely seals the deal for me.

Works great on the computer and sound is impressive but on the iPhone there's a little problem. It's called flash....
And so all we see is the cube.... nothing else.
