Haha thank you very much everyone :smile: My birthday is actually today (June 22) not yesterday so its not belated =] I did have my birthday party last friday, and I had lots of fun then.

Well I just got my permit on may 30th, but i cant drive until i take my first drivers training session, which i am taking this coming tuesday.

Well, I got lots and lots of cash ($400-$500) and about $100 in gift cards, some wii games, and some sentimental stuff from my best girl friends haha. I got plenty of money to get the new iPhone :D

I haven't applied yet, but I'm going to sometime this week. I'm going to try tomorrow to apply to a local grocery store called Albertsons. I also get to start a checking account and get an ATM card finally lol. And I can't forget that I start my driving lessons on Tuesday!

-Here in kentucky a brand new 2008 mustang(Candy red) will run you about $16000 base model :)

Lucky, the base model here in Southern California is ~$19,000 and I think its closer to $20K.

Well I seriosly wasnt kidding about the price bro. . .
-Here in Kentucky Mustangs are a literally a dime-a-dozen whether it be a new model, a 90s model or even the original "AMERICAN MUSCLE" types ya kno haha! Mustangs around here depreciate in value so quickly that if came here for a mustang you could find an 05-06 model for about 11-13,500 dollars! I really sucks here cause if you dont have a mustang then there's a high chance that you probably own a Ford F-150 (F'n Rednecks), or some kind Chevy.
-Ive lately been seeing alot of cadillac STS/ and CTS's here in louisville and even weirder in the same creme/tanish color.

What kind of cars in Cali do you see alot, is it like what we see on T.V where everyone has a Lime Lamborghini, or Silver Porsche lol?

wow we have a lot of mustangs here, but only cause my city is full of rich ppl so they all buy their kids mustangs when they turn 16 lol. I think I could find an 05-06 model for the same price, but at somewhere like carmax.

Josh, My friend was on vacation in Carlsbad (Legoland) and there was a Ford dealer near where they were staying. She saw they had a candy apple red mustang. It's not a convertible but she got it for $16000. It was one of their lead cars so they were trying to get rid of it. It was one of those cars that are advertise in the paper that says only 1 available for the price. Well it happened to be that one car so she bought it. It's worth shopping around when your ready, it saved her a few thousand bucks.

yah, even with the price of gas these days (about $4.50 in my area) it would probably be cheaper to drive to other surrounding areas and not just 5-10 minutes away. I most likely won't get one until after college (unless by some luck my family wins the lottery :smile: ) and by then I will be living in Georgia (hopefully) where it should be much cheaper. Unless its something like the iPhone where the price is the same everywhere (except for tax) then I would always shop around for better prices.
