If there was a password typed on my phone for a internet mail site what are the chances I can retrieve that password?

Oh c'mon!
SOmeone has to know how to find this password.
The email is still logged in and the phone is jail broken if that helps.
A second question could be: is there a way to save files off a website? specifically a free email website?

I dont think you can get the password off the phone.
And you cant save files for now, once we get the 2.0 update you can.

Currently, there is no way to get the password and no way to save files unless the iphone is jailbroken.

If jailbroken, there are packages available for download from Installer that allow Safari to download things such as zip archives.

Can you give me an example of such package?
What I am interested in is about 10 photos.
I'd really like to find the password, but I guess if I can get the photos it'll be adaquate.

If there is a download link available, then Safari can download it. Such as going to Apple's website and clicking 'Download iTunes now' will no longer result in a message stating "Safari cannot download this file", but will instead show a green progress bar. If it's just a photo - now download link - you're out of luck until 2.0. Sorry.

There is a download link embedded into the email but when I click it, the photo just opens.
So there is no way, on a jail broken phone to find the password or save the pictures? (The email account is still logged into obviously)
That sucks.
