pixel problem

so... i recently took back my iphone to get a new one becaus emy previous one took a bit of action damage! thank god for insurance lol.

but my new handset has a dead pixel, i've tried the app that tries to get rid of it, and i've tried applying slight pressure to the screen!

does anybody know any other method apart from returning the iphone??

You can try ordering a new screen and replacing it, but I dont think you want to do that. I dont think there really is another way.

OMG, take it back. I have been inside this phone and it is a nightmare, you will defo damage the case removing it and will need a replacement back - that means it no longer has the serial and IMEI number on it... so no further insurance for you! Taking the rest of the internals to bits is full of hazards...and you have to strip the whole thing to get at the screen. It will take hours to do and you are likely to damage ribbon cables, etc on the way. If you do go for it, take lots of pics and let us know how it goes.
