iphone calendar/alert question

i dont have an iphone yet, but curious about the alerts/alarm, Could i set the phone to give me reminders at differents times through out the day for everday?

example, could I set an alert at 8am,11am,3pm at the sametime to alert me each day on these times?

There are a few ways to do it.

You can either set an alert on your calander, but then you'd have to make appointments for every day you need it, OR you could just set multipule alarms. The alarm can be named, can be set for certian days and any of your ringtones can be used as the alert tone. so it is possible.
