some of you may be going through the same thing as i am... not having an iphone till july 11th!!! i told my mom she could have my iphone when i got the new one but she said texting would be too hard with it... i was like nope... so i put her sim card in it a couple days ago so she could get used to it (mind you it was only intended for a couple of days) anyways she comes home yesterday and im like okay lets switch phones(hers being a Blackjack2) and shes likes nope! and im like what!! and she told me... since i had her get the bj2 over a blackberry curve, then i would have to suffer with the bj2 till july11 came!! so now im stuck with this stupid bj2 till july11 which seems like forever!!!! so theres my story... thought i might share it with you...:laugh2:

Spoiled kids these days :p

I'm just gonna take a vacation for a week and not leave the house, only drive on July 11, and pay for the iPhone with the gas I would have used.

See some of us have to go to great lengths. :2cool:

no im paying for the v2 just like i payed for v1 lol... i saved up 5months to get the v1 and im using some of my graduation money to pay for v2...:2cool:

Free2Rhyme, are you sure you want the new model. I can't make up my mind. Since its going to have a painted(scratchable) back and a lower quality screen... I dunno... I mean I want it because its NEW but then again i don't because it doesn't seem worth gettin rid of my baby.

I'm hoping the V3 will come out in another year and be a bigger step up than this one is. So i can be as thrilled as I was on iDay.

oh I'm definitely not getting rid of v1!!! Are the rumors really true about the lower quality screen?!?!?

and where does it say the back is painted? there IS colored plastic out there...

I don't know to TRUTH to it, but it makes sense with the lower price. And no i'm not sure of if its painted or whatever. all i know is that it isn't supposed to be the aluminum. Which means no matter if its paint or plastic, it will scratch.

well, i don't think i've ever seen a painted Apple product. But you're right, without a case, this iphone is gonna scratch like crazy.

I think the "lower quality screen" business is still debatable.

yep, and then you can wait another year for v4 to come out, ad nauseum...

BTW, the V3 is already out -- it's called the RAZR.
