FYI if you have a Ford Vehicle with SYNC
Some 2008 SYNC factory equipped vehicles built on or before 5/5/2008 or 2008 Navigator vehicles equipped with dealer installed Ford Accessory SYNC may intermittently experience any AppleŽ device, except Ipod Mini, shutting off after 30-60 seconds of operation after first being activated. This may be due to the SYNC system being unable to authenticate the device.
Fix is to replace APIM module and Reprogram.
