Should I wait to buy an iPod Touch?

On ebay the prices of iPod Touches are only 200$ because of the new iPhone coming out. Do you think that is the cheapest they are going to get or will they go down even more? I finally got 200$ and I want to know if the Ipod Touch prices will stay at 300$ or go down even more from 200$? Thanks!

My gut feeling is that the prices will drop but this is a hard one. The iPhone price drop is due to phone company subsidisation as its the phone contract that pulls in the money. with iPod and iTouchs you obviously dont get this level of monthly income. A bit like when you buy a printer and then get screwed for the ink!

My guess is we are more likely to see a memory upgrade to try and keep the touch ahead in at least that area

i am in the same situ myself as i am buying on for a relative and i personally am going to wait for a few weeks anyway

I would be hesitant of buying electronics off of E bay as you can get burned. I also don't see i pod touch prices going down as the i phone is subsidized by AT&T, in reality that is a $5oo to $600 phone, so don't expect i pod touches to drop in price, that and they are a big seller, supply and demand rules apply.
I would just buy the i pod touch from Apple and enjoy it, and when it is full you have saved money for the next one, because one is never enough you know.:2cool:
