How is chris going to give away the 3G iPhone now?

It would appear that the Fast and Free 3G iPhone giveaway is done for.


One cannot purchase a 3G iPhone without having to activate it in-store, and you cannot buy it online.

This would leave chris with one remaining option if said rumours are true.


Chris would have to send the winner $200, and then that user would have to purchase one for him/herself.


Any thoughts?

By the way - I think I've had quite a few "quality" posts, and IF the rumours are not true, then this opens up a whole new spectrum for it.

It says in the original contest that you get an apple store gift card (Plus an itunes gift card) . (In an amt up to 399. depending cost of the 3g iphone). It says in the new thread it will be 199.

Speak for yourself. I've written down the site address on the back of my business card and have given it to a LOT of my clients (well every one that had an iPhone). Probably half a dozen or more so far.

I feel dorky enough doing that, so I don't bother asking for them to credit me with a referral :tounge:

I don't want to announce the winner until I hear back. Last year, when we were everythingiPhone, we had a very similar contest. The winner never replied to my emails or PMs. In fact, I never heard back from them. Just as well, they missed out and I picked another winner.

Now I'd say that a $599 Apple Gift Card is pretty awesome. This time around, it's $199. Still, not too shabby.

I've heard from one of runner ups --- I'll offer them a choice of Apple Store cards or iTunes cards. It's only $25, but still nice to have the option.
