What will happen to this? Is Apple still going to charge that much now?

Who knows...but they should charge less though. For $250 for repairs, you might as well just buy the 3G iPhone.

Oh good question. I imagine the price would go down considering the price of a new 3G unit but I wonder how long it will take Apple to enact a new price.
