Hi Guyd and Gals

Sorry not normally in this section (iphone user) but I may be purchasing a touch as a present for a relative and wanted to know does the tomorrows WWDC holds in store for the touch if anything, are there any rumours upgrades etc....I dont want to be buying if theres about to me a change. I'm aware that the touch will get the app store but ???? anything else

is that going to be on tv? or streamed to the internet cuz i wanna see it really bad! i would of thought it would be on G4 but i hope not cuz i dont get that channel anymore :(

no one knows. A larger-capacity iPhone is a possibility, and if that happens, logic would dictate Apple would do the same for the Touches...

Most likely nothing as it is all about the i phone, an improved i pod Touch will most likely come in about 6 months.

i think the focus will be on the 3G i phone and the new technoligy will show up in a new improved i pod Touch around September, October would be my best guess. Monday is all about the i phone which I think is going after the Black berry.

There was no 64Gb iTouch:frown:
-But the app store was announced, so theirs hope:smile:

what's bizzarre now is that the iphone is CHEAPER than the iTouch... makes me think that unlocking is going to be here for a while.

Man what was apple thinking! I think they just want us to always have something iphone related to talk, and keep guessing about. Cause if they gave us eveything we wanted what would we have to look forward next year ya kno... Like for instance the copy and paste feature... I know for a fact that if apple wanted to they could get a copy and paste feature made and released in 1 business day :)

well guys there was no hardware changes to the itouch so I buy one for my father in law. I might wait until the iPhone is nearer release as I think they might drop the price

As of now, absolutely nothing. If im not mistaken, was it not even mentioned once?...besides the cost of the update for it..

Yeah it is cheap only because AT&T subsidizes the cost of it, if you were to buy it out right it still would be a $600 phone.

As of now, absolutely nothing. If im not mistaken, was it not even mentioned once?...besides the cost of the update for it..

The future i pod touch I'm sure it is in the works and will benefit from the advances made in the i phone, but typical apple will not talk about it until they are ready to put it out. I would expect the same features minus the phone part and price point will be about the same.I think they get better and better.
