View Full Version : If There Is Video Conferencing, Will We Be Giving Out Phone Numbers?

It would be cool if we all gave our numbers to each other to do some video chat. Anyone think they'd be up for it?

Hehe, only cuz I ain't getting a new phone for a while. Plus, to be honest, I really hate talking on the phone as it is. Video? Why???

Besides, it's not gonna have video conferencing.

i would. just because i know it will take a while for any of my friends to get one. and i only know a couple people with macs. (with iChat)

there is also a way to make a chat room in meebo... [ go to meebo.com] and you use your AIM

That was a lot of fun last night guys...

I'm at work right now (forgot to change my handle from psysleeps) but I'll be around later on this afternoon and evening if anyone wants more. My computer is on 24/7, so I'll camp out and reserve the room.

Remember, it is IRC, so you might have to get creative with your handle if it's already taken.

Alright, I figured out that Efnet does not offer room registrations, therefore our room could easily be taken by somebody else. So, our new room is on Esper.net. Here's the link (http://esper.net/pjirc/index.php); once the page has loaded, just type in /join #EIC in the box. I'm in the process of registering the room now.

Haha, sorry dude. The room has changed.

John moved to a server where we can register the room and our nicknames and everything. And the java client is much smoother and quicker. You'll like it.

Have you been using the Efnet one? We aren't using it anymore. Click the link in my signature. Dave and I have been in there, and there were a bunch of people yesterday during the Keynote.
