Question about syncing jailbroke iPhone... Help!

I jailbroke my iPhone about a week ago with ZiPhone and today I wanted to add some pictures to my phone and when I synced it with my computer it didn't say "Matts iPhone" It just said iPhone... Is that because I jailbroke it? or is something screwed up? Also is it going to mess with ATT and my bill?

ZiPhone has been known to cause weird name issues like that... which is one reason why i've opted for iDemocracy. The bug has so far been pretty harmless (don't worry, ATT won't know anything), but still makes you wonder...

anyway, you should be able to change the name back if you want.

It wont mess up anything. You just had to set up a new phone for the jailbreak. After doing that it made it say the default iphone instead of what you named it before. I havnt had a problem with my bill after the same issue

Exactly, when you restored the iPhone it changed the name. You can easily change the name by single clicking on the iPhone name in the devices section of iTunes.
