New Products @ WWDC

Okay, so this whole new release of products with Apple is exciting, but at the same time frustrating to say the least. Why do I say this? Well, although we all buy products from Apple knowing they will come out with something better at least 6 months later and lower the price of the product you bought, it can be extremely frustrating to see them come out with something totally new and cool when you have just bought a multi-hundred/thousand dollar machine/device from Apple. This happened to me with the iPhone (which I'm way over ever since the $100 dollar store credit) and now I'm scared its going to happen again: with the possible launch of the NEW MACBOOKS. Now, I'm not discouraging the release of these new Macbooks, don't get me wrong they are going to be awesome! However, the fact still remains: you still feel a sense of betrayal and shame: the shame of yourself and the betrayal from Apple after you have just spent so much dough on their products.
I bought the new Macbook Pro with Multi-touch capabilities for $2,000 bucks and now I'm hearing that Apple might launch new Macbooks?!?!? Well, I just thought I'd share my thoughts on this, I am perfectly happy and content with my Macbook, just sharing my thoughts :wink:

I too just bought a MBP. As you get older, you begin to accept the fact that something new and better is just around the corner. This is true with any tech product. I pieced my home theater system together over a 2 year period. Couldn't afford to buy it all at once. Now HD is the thing but I will not rush out to upgrade. That would require a new tv,receiver, dvd player, dish,ect. The point is I have become happpy with what I have and don't think about what is out there.
Just like the new phone. It will take a heck of a lot more then 3G to get me to buy one. I have it set up the way I like it and let's not forget the app store is also coming. That has seemed to have been left out of recent discussions.

That's the reality of a technological world. Something better is always going to come out after you make your purchase. It's an unfortunate occurrence but if it didn't happen we would never have any advances in anything. Take your pick.

Yeah when apple phased out the 4GB, and it replaced the 8GB's price with 4GB's price many, many people where mad. And I cant find it, but Steve sent out message letting those customers know "that technology is ever changing" and something about if you were to wait for technology you get left behind?
