iPhone #2 is broken..

today i got out of the car and my iPhone fell out of the car onto the concrete. at first i was like, no biggie. i've dropped it before with the Agent 18 case on it and it was perfectly ok.

today was a different story.

it seems that the 1foot drop was too much for it and not the "exit button/menu button" doesn't work. also the power on and off button seems to me.. harder.

so. question is, how much might this cost me? i'm hoping that they'll easily fix it and it will cost free99. i really don't want to lose all of the stuff on my on my iphone and then also have to put on, again.

ohwell. i'll take a trip tomorrow to the applestore and we'll see the damage. i know it'll cost money though because i just got money for my birthday..

dont even bother... for 250 plus a little more u can buy the new 3g iphone rumord to be out in less than a month...
if u pay 250 for it get it in 2 weeks well two weeks later a new iphone will be out and ull be thinking ''damn i wish i listend to gotpancakes''

i would never pay over $100 to get it fixed since iPhoneII is coming out.

i'm sure it's something they can fix and will fix since it looks like there is no damage to it whatsoever.

i mean the button clicks and everything but it doesn't function. how is that my fault >_>

Dang Taylor that really sucks. If there doesn't appear to be any physical damage then hopefully the genius will side with you and replace it gratis. I definitely wouldn't waste $100+ on a "new one" if the real new one is due out in a month.

The only conplaints I have is that it took over 2hours to get to the bar and that none of my contacts transferred over. Ohwell.

re: hitting up other Apple stores if one refuses free service.... would that really work? I thought your visit would be logged and the next store would see that you were refused warranty service, right?

anything is worth a shot if at the end of the day your phone is still broken.
