So I just recently installed "DOCK" app using installer. When I rebooted my phone it booted up fine. But, When I click on any apps "settings, sms, etc" I cant scroll down or even type anything. It seems like the interface locks up. The only thing that works is basically the home button. When I go to the desktop of the iphone, I can scroll through all of my apps, but cant seem to do anything once im in them.
I tried to uninstall apps using installer, but like I said, I cant because it locks up. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Any help would be so much appreciated! Thanks:angry:
I personally am not familiar with the Dock app, but it's possible that it's a permissions issue. If you have the BSD Subsystem installed and Open SSH, then use winscp ( wireless connection needed) to access the file system and change the permissions to 0755.
If you don't have BSD or Open SSH, from your description, it sounds like you might not be able to install them either. At that point, I would say that you need to restore and start over.

Sounds like you have a case of the one tap syndrome. (OTS). It happens from time to time usually the result of some app being installed. It was happening a lot when everyone was installing vWallpaper. I've never had any problems like that with dock. Pretty solid app IMHO.
To fix try powering off the phone and then back on a couple of times. That's how I fixed mine when this happened. Also once you get your phone back and working there's an app in installer called killboard that will fix this anytime it happens again.

ok .. so now its fixed.
I did some research on this forum. And it said to just power off and on about 20 times. It finally worked after about 30 tries lol.
So, if anyone has this problem, just do that and it should fix it. Thanks to those who replied
