iPhone mic volume too low

this is a brand new iphone and the volume of the mic is too low! it works great if i use the headset....so what cud be the prob?

please help :)

the speaker isnt broke...but the mic. the ones i call with my iphone can hardly hear me talkin.....

Try blowing in the microphone area to try to clean out some dust or whatever could be in there that could possibly be causing this.
