Outlook is yesterday. Calendar synch and Vista?

Hi, all. I'm planning to use a Touch as a replacement for my very old PDA. The key to it all is the calendar app. I know it will synch with Outlook, but my PC is Vista-based and Outlook has been replaced with the new Windows Calendar and Contacts applications. Does anyone know if Apple intends to bring the Touch Calendar in line with these? Much obliged.

probably not. i think you need the full version of outlook to sync your calendar. you can purchase it by itself for ~$110.

I have that seperate version of outlook and it works as advertised.

Thanks, folks. Think I'll learn to live without it for a while and hope for future support for the Vista Calendar.
