Hello EIC! I just got an iPhone (refurb) and I want to win the 3G!

Hello EIC! This is my 1st post in the forums and I'm sure it won't be my last. This past week I received my iPhone 16gb (refurb). I wasn't sure if I was going to keep the iPhone (refurb), but it turns out that I like it way more than I expected.

I'm already an AT&T customer. My phone is jailbroken unlocked w/iLiberty+ so that I didn't have to extend my contract.

I'm not going to jump on the 3G iPhone bandwagon right away. I'll probably wait around to see if it can get unlocked. Plus the 3G connection does drain the battery really fast which I hated. I've used smartphones in the past (HTC & Moto Q) and I didn't really like them all that much. But, I'm sure the new 3G iPhone will be really tempting!

The only thing I'm really missing for the iPhone is an iPhone SlingPlayer so I can watch my Slingbox / TiVo.

I'm using the incase slider case and a Power Support Anti-Glare screen protector. Here's a pic of my new iPhone (Sorry for the long 1st post, can you tell I really like my iPhone?).:smile:

Thanks Eragon! I learned so much from EIC before my iPhone arrived last week. I used to visit iLounge and HowardForums, but the people here are the best when you're looking for some good info and opinions.

My sentiments exactly! I've often been turned off by some of the other iPhone related forums just because they felt like you needed to know a secret handshake or something in order to get any real help. Everyone around here is pretty down to earth!

Anyway, welcome to the EIC. Kick off your shoes and stay a while!
