kate is the devil

kate is satan of all applications i downloaded ths application about a week ago and since then my iyouch has been frozen i can click on the icons but it wont lest me click on anything. i tried getting rid of it by getting rid of the icon but the X doesnt pop up i really do not wanna restore so if anyone can give me step by step instructions it will be greatly appreciated soo much

Did you read through this (http://www.everythingicafe.com/forum/third-party-applications/stay-away-from-kate-27569.html) thread? I made the mistake of installing Kate as well and the info in that thread helped me out.
