View Full Version : My carrier logo won't change

I've gone from 1.1.2 to 1.1.4 (Ziphone 3.0). I'm using customize 1.2.1 (custom) and everything else works great except I can't change the carrier logo. No matter what I choose it just wont change. Any idea on how to fix?

Are you trying to use an image to replace it with? If so, are you using AT&T, I can tell you how to SSH new carrier images to your phone.

I don't use Customize for this.

You should take a look at StatusStyle. It works great. :smile:

Did or do you have that Make It Mine App? This happend to me and it wouldn't change I changed it through OpenSSH but I had to delete what I had as the carrier from the app then uninstall the app and restart the phone

I was using the HackT&T (with ATT logo) one. Its was in the installer in the customize tab. I just can't get it to take. If you can tell me how to SSH it in I coils probably do it.

it's easy. OpenSSH is a app in installer that unlocks you phone so that you can browse the folders. The carrier logo is just a .PNG image and it can be replaced with anything you want as long as its the right size. You need wifi though and the program WinSCP which is free

What's the location of the carrier png? As long as I can find that I should be ok.

StatusStyle wasn't what I was using but thanks for the suggestion.

Dark background icon

/System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/
FSO_CARRIER_ATT.png

Light background icon

/System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/
Default_CARRIER_ATT.png

your images have to named exactly FSO_CARRIER_ATT.png and Default_CARRIER_ATT.png or else it won't work also restart after you replace

Hi Guys and Gals

I have the same problem now i am not a noob at the iphone had it and unlocked it jailbroke it in October last year. But i am on 114 PWND unlocked and jailbroken and still cannot change carrier logo never and looks like never will. I have done everything that has been written on how to change it but nothing. I now have customize 2.0 and thought that it may fix the problem so i download a new logo and procced to change the logo and it says it now has been changed then it takes me back to the lock screen and what do you know nothing so i say to myself maybe it needs a restart so i restart and nada nothing again.

If anyone has a noob proof way of doing this i am all ears.
