wifi problem

I live on campus and I connect via wifi to the campus internet.

Before I can actually use the internet I have to login with my school ID.

I think that is the main problem with using wifi on my itouch.

my itouch says i'm connected and everything but i can't get to a web site or itunes or anything.

i know there's nothing wrong with my wifi because i just got home from a friends house and i was able to connect there...

help?

is the connection secured by WEP??

WEP is problematic on lots of platforms, including the iPhone. If they use WEP, try "forgetting" the connection and set it up again but enter the WEP key as hex.

well i enabled wep on my router, but there's an additional login through the school

so i login to my router on my itouch or laptop, then i have to open a web browser to login into the school.
