Good day, sirs and madams.

My name is Sam, as most of you already know, and i live in Boston.

I go to high school, and im a sophomore in school.

I get decent grades, and well, i enjoy going to school.

I used to have really short hair, and it sucked.

i hate short hair,

I listen to the Beatles, play the guitar, and perform with my good friend John Hathaway every thursday at my school, with our little group.

I work pretty well with iPhones, its pretty weird, i can fix almost anything with them,

I dont play games much anymore,

I cant stand the heat,

I like ice cream a lot.

drumsticks, to be precise.

I have a problem with self confidence, but then again, who doesnt?

anyone that EVER has a problem with their life, and knows me at all, come to me, and i will help them forever.

my usual outfit:

Blue Levi 514 straight slim jeans, (cant stand tight jeans, but dont like baggy jeans) and my white shirt with pale pink stripes on it, and my most favourite shoes of all time, the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star shoe.

some call me emo,

i call them stupid.

I was born in Armenia, in September of 92, and we lived there for about 3 months, and then we moved to Moscow, Russia, lived there for about 8 years, then moved to Kentucky, and lived there for 6 years, and then moved to wisconsin, lived there for a year, and we are now living here.

erm...

i have a dog, her name is Lucy, and shes a ****er and shes really pretty.

here, look at her, shes so pretty.

Let me tell you this - I freakin love big cities.

I love Moscow, because it always keeps you on your feet, and i miss the overall feel of it, the coldness and warmth of the people, all at the same time.

and, the US for some reason makes me dislike it for taht very same reason - its just too boring here.

this coming from someone who lives very near Boston.

Glad you posted this yourself, you know yourself best after all. And you sound like a really good guy; don't fret the emo stuff, it can be taken as a compliment you know.

Thanks for being here! i enjoy your posts.

Man of my heart. Minus the auto tech. I'd love to talk physics with you sometime. What branch is your favorite?

That was a really great reveal and well worth the windup. Hope you don't mind the ribbing we all gave you for that. Don't let any self-confidence issue ever convince you that anything I say (or pretty much any of us for that matter) would be out of malice. We love you here. But we love to talk **** innit.

I didn't even need to read it, though, to know that you're a really fascinating individual with a really bright future ahead of you, iPhone or no iPhone.

Good day, sir, indeed!

Interesting. I used to love big cities too, and still miss London some days / nights - but mostly have grown to love a very medium-sized (or even smallish) city. I think it takes time to adapt and figure out how much you like a place (or not). How long have you lived where you are now?

You can have the cold! Don't miss that from London and I know it doesn't come anywhere near Moscow for severity of cold.

cute puppy by the way.

Sam (the dog in my avatar) would most likely love to meet her and breed with her and have ugly cross bred puppies. But he died a couple years ago.

Too bad :frown:

I KNEW IT!!!! lol. and you SO stole my dog's name, lol. But its okay because I saw last weeks episode of Desperate Housewives and they got a dog name Roxy so... I guess I'll never have a unique dog name... :S

Nice biography! What kind of TV shows do you like? Do you watch much TV? Do you enjoy going to the movies? What's your favorite cologne? Do you use product in your hair? Do you blow dry or towel dry? What kind of toothpaste do you prefer? What's your favorite beverage? I'll think of more questions in a bit.

1) I love CSI, but
2) I don't watch much TV, however,
3) I love going to the movies, especially with friends
4) I can't really decide what my favourite cologne is,
5) At the moment, no, I don't use product in my hair
6) Towel dry. more satisfying.
7) I use Crest Pro Health,
8) Sprite. Sprite = Amazing.

oh and Hayes, you're the one who made that depthnerd joke, I would have hoped at least you got it...

by the way, did anyone catch that nod to Steve Jobs?

great reveal and all, but i take exception to one comment. Boston is NOT a big city.

it's smaller than:

Columbus, OH
Indianapolis, IN
Memphis, TN
Jacksonville, FL
Fort Worth, TX

New York has a population that is nearly FIFTEEN TIMES that of Boston. of course you're bored. move to New York.

I believe coasts, that Sam was referring to the metaphorical size of Boston.

I am from Boston and have been to all the cities you mention above numerous times.
With all due respect, Sir, those are definitely second class cities.

And NYC (Where much of my professional career is based) where a six pack costs $15, a hamburger at a bar costs $12, a pack of deathsticks costs around $10, a five minute cab ride actually takes 20 to 30 minutes and a one bedroom apartment in Brooklyn (a 30 minute subway ride away from midtown) costs my friend Ethan $3000 a month.

15 times the population, correct Sir.
That means 15 times the drug dealers, street criminals, lunatics, bums, congestion, traffic, malorodous cab drivers and so on.

In no way am I trying to convince you of anything coasts, because I never
will, but Boston is ALL of the GOOD things about NYC and NONE of the bad things.

Good Day, Sir

Dana

Great reveal!! I love Boston, I had family in Newton Falls but they just moved to Natick. I was there last year and I thought it was a big city, we actually got lost looking for the Freedom Trail. There is so much history there. I also went to Salem and Martha's Vineyard cause I always wanted to see those places. From the moment I stepped off the plane at Logan I thought it was a great city!! :laugh2:
