So I need a bunch of help you see...

Welll an Installer update came in early January, and I decided to update it, right. After that my Installer stopped working. I learned that I ran out of memory on my iPhone. So I am stuck with a disfunctional iPhone ATM. Can I update to the latest JB firmware without having to need a functioning Installer? Plus can I update directly to the newst JB firmware?

So I restored and I am jailbreaking with ZiPhone right? I am stuck in this black screen with white text. It says can't exec /bin/sh for single user: No such file or directory.:(? What do I do?

i would stay away from ziphone 3.0, 3.0 gave me nothing but headaches, if you can run 2.6b, i am running it with no issues whatsoever

What happens when you plug it into the computer? Does iTunes recognize it?

I just got it. It was weird. ZiPhone failed the first time. Then I recovered again and used iLiberty. It jailbroke it, but Installer was missing. Then I use ZiPhone once more, and it jailbroke my iPhone properly.

i am getting the same problem....my computer doesnt recognize anything is plugged to it and my ipod wont boot, its stuck at white text saying

"singleuser boot -- fsck not done
root device is mounted read-only
....
can't exec/bin/sh for single user: no such file or directory"

I CAN'T DO ANYTHING CAN ANYONE HELP????

put in dfu mode hold top button and bottom till it turrns off then keep holding bottom button till it says connect to itunes

Hi John, I have exactly the same problem! I can't even turn the ipod off! How did you solve it???
