hi i'm mahreez, i'm from the Philippines, i just got my iphone...i could use our Philippine SIM here, so i'm not sure if it's what they call an unlocked iphone or not. it is version 1.0.2.

i wanna install the installer app but i only have windows xp. hope you could help me out. i don't know a lot of people here with iphones. and the ones i've met wouldn't really dare unlock their phones. thanks.

Wellcome to EIC. You can unlock the phone with any firmware. I sugest 1.1.3 or .4. If you want spacific step by step on the issue look for the thread "ziphone question, look here" darklite or tmotd is the house unlocker and he can answer pritty much all your questions.
