Hi, Just got an unlocked iphone as a gift. A friend tried to help by adding software to resolve my bluetooth issue (not working). I have no clue what he downloaded neither does he. Anyway the i-phone is know stuck. I found out from the internet how to perform a hard reset. I did that but all I get is the visual of the apple. Can anyone help:frown:?? Thanks

"visual of the apple"? Do you only get the Apple logo or does it tell you to connect to iTunes?

You can put the phone in recovery mode pretty easily and try to restore and it might fix the issue. Just a few simple steps outlined in the link:

Thanks I did exactly as pointed out on the url but I'm only getting the apple logo after the 30" wait. If I stay holding then the iphone goes off.

I'm not getting any yellow triangle or a msg to connect to ITunes.

have you tried (with the iPhone off) holding the power button while connecting to iTunes? This is another way to force a restore.
