I have heard alot of different answers for this. does anyone know why sometimes when i check email it tells me this? usually its when i go back to a email that i had previously looked at

The issue stems from the way the iPhone downloads POP3 messages. This is an application issue. Here are some additional links:

it is good to know that it is just a POP3 issue. On my iphone I have two email accounts on it. One IMAP and one POP3, and I have this issue is only on my POP3 account. Is there a way to pull a POP3 account using IMAP? :laugh2:
