I have indeed been able to request the area library to gather those books and hold them for me until I have time. Unfortunately, when you and I talked in March, I was approaching crunch-time in my studies, and therefore have been dropping on my posts and such in the EverythingiCafe. However, I am now on holiday, and will be able to collect and read those books promptly.

I agree with all of this. No offense Sam - but a lot of the reveal posts have been good fun to read, nice to learn more about people here, but all of them would've lost some charm for me if they'd been built up too much beforehand.

I have one (probably useless) suggestion for you though. If it's proving real tough to write about yourself, chuck your details in rough, bullet form or whatever to somebody else you like on here, let them do it. I find that's often how it goes with resumes - lots of us are great at advising others on how to best sell themselves, and then crappy at doing our own ...
