Does anyone know if a companies IT department will need to set up iPHone to get information off of the exchange servers, with 2.0 (like BBerry)? or will it be more like a WMobile that just require log in credentials via outook.xxxxxx.com
Sorry if this has been talked about.

I would think it will work the same as other mobile clients - i.e. Yes, your IT folks will have to allow it / set it up on the Exchange server side ...

It works via the wireless active sync. So if the IT department has set up wireless active sync for other WM devices then your iPhone will just work. I'm not sure if wireless active sync is set up by default on exchange servers or not.
BTW, it works quite nice. I can attest to it.

Don't think it is enabled by default on Exchange servers - at least not when I have had to do them for Windows Mobile clients. It can be turned on globally or applied to groups or individual users ...

Well there you go. I haven't had the pleasure of administering any exchange servers so I didn't know.

The pleasure is all ... well, Microsoft's I guess - don't recall any pleasure for myself or any of my colleagues when we had to mess with that :)
