its not actually counterstrike its just a doom wad[or mod] that makes doom look like counterstrike. Still awesome though and this must mean we have doom to.

k i added Source :http://steveboy12.googlepages.com/repo.xml to my installer, but still can't find it in my installer... what is the name of the subcategory ? and is it called "counterstrike". i tryed installing doom but it didn't work.. the icon never showed up on my main screen, so i just uninstalled it

Actually, it's flying along now. not sure what the problem was, but a nice, but stern email to CS and it was working fine the next day. Of course, when they actually finally replied, they said they couldn't see anything wrong, but they were probably looking after it was back up again.

Were you actually able to get this installed? I added the source but can't find it anywhere. I'm not real sure how to install it manually and get an icon on the screen to start it.

Yes, I got it install very easy... don't use installer

1-Download the "Doom.app" from here:

http://www.mediafire.com/?txvjywker24

SSH into iphone, drop it under:

/Applications

Change/set permissions to 0755

2-Down the mod (counter strike) here:

http://www.mediafire.com/?30vbium21q9

extract the two files and SSH them here:

/private/var/root/Media/Doom

(I had to make the media and doom directories)

Now, change/set permissions to 0755

3-Restart iphone

I got it to work. I had to change all of the files in the Doom.app directory to 0755. I also forgot to reboot. After I rebooted the Doom icon was there and it worked. I can't seem to change any of the options in the game, there's no sound, and it's not real easy to move around..... but it does work.
