View Full Version : No Mail?

I'm on a jailbroken 1.1.4. And all of a sudden my mail won't work. I tried resetting all. When I open Mail it stays on the window for a second and returns to the home screen.

Any suggestions?

type this into terminal vt100

chmod 755 /Applications/Mail.app
cmhod 755 -R /Applications/Mail.app/*

The permissions are all correct. There is something else wrong here.

Go to settings, general, reset, reset network settings.
Worked for me......

I restored the phone to 1.1.4. When I try to Sync the Mail accounts, I get the message;

iTunes could not sync Mail accounts to iPhone because the iPhone canceled the sync.

Now what?

I added the mail fix from SK72, and everything is all right now. I went ahead and rejailbroke with Ziphone rather than Pwnage. I think when I tried to use the PwnageTool it screwed up my Mail app, my thoughts anyway.

If you are jaibroken. You can fix it fast by uploading Fix Mail Sync an app from XK72 repository. Add this to your sources; http://xk72.com/iphone/repos/
It worked for me. Try it.
