I installed this app called Hidepod which basically hides your video files behind a calculater. I transfered my videos (around 750mb) to the app and deleted them from my Ipod application where they earlier were. However, I was'nt too happy with the app as it showed a register screen with the password everytime u started it, so i uninstalled it.
Although i lost all my videos with it i synced them back from my computer. The problem now is that all those video files are stored twice on my iphone. I know this because my 'Other' section in the Itunes memory status bar suddenly shot up by 750mb. How do i find these files that were transfered to Hidepod and delete them so i can free up all that space. Pls help.

I like the idea of this app very much, I've got a few vids that are funny RickRoll'd films where it starts with a lady taking off her top, and before it gets to the good bit it jumps into that "NEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP!" video by Rick Astin.
The thumbnail in iTunes is a pair of jubblies, so I'd like to keep that one hidden from the lady friend because she obviously won't get the joke, lol.

It is an interesting program. It will also allow you to hide program icons as well. This is nice if you have programs that are either questionable in nature or even ones that could damage your phone if used wrong. I let my nephews play with my phone and don't want one of them getting into a setting somewhere and doing damage and definitely dont want them seeing any inappropriate videos. The program moves your video files to /var/mobile/Media/HidePod/Video.... You can then "delete" them from your regular video list in the ipod (they wont work anyway since the files aren't there anymore, just the icon is displayed). Works great.
