Thought I'd start another. So, with all of the 20q threads we had, maybe we could have a general question game going on? I'll ask a question, next person answers and asks a question. Next person answers and asks a questions, and so on....

Absolutely. I had a model of the Enterprise that I set on fire while pretending it was going through the galactic barrier. Drippings from the model caught a tree on fire. Lucky it didn't burn the house down.

No. My wife regularly threatens to fit me in a bra. I like my freedom as is. Besides, I'm cranky enough as is. I don't need awful pain and discomfort to make matters worse.
I gladly accept the seven year or so loss of longevity for being a guy.
Have you ever been in a car accident that wasn't your fault?
Youngbinks
04-12-2008, 10:37 AM
Yes, a few times actually. The most memorable time was when I was 5 and my mom got hit by a female driver on her passenger side (my side). There wasn't any major damage but I remember telling the other driver she was really pretty.

Do you have anything fun planned for the weekend?
Spending time with the family is always fun. I'm Mr Mom and Dad this weekend while my wife is at a scrapbooking retreat. Ideas for the weekend include going to the library (kid's idea), mowing the grass (nature's idea, not mine), and watching movies on the TV.
If you eat breakfast in the morning, what do you usually have?
Youngbinks
04-12-2008, 11:01 AM
I love breakfast. If I'm in a hurry it's usually just a bowl of cereal (something covered in sugar) with whole milk, none of that skim milk stuff. If I have time to actually make something then I like pancakes and/or waffles (Belgian) with a couple of strips of bacon, some sausage links, a nice glass of milk and a glass of OJ. Delicious. Dang, now I'm hungry.
Speaking of food, if you had to choose your last meal right now, what would it be?
Hayesimus
04-12-2008, 11:04 AM
Fish sticks, velveeta shells n cheese, chicken n dumplings, scrambled eggs, bacon, mashed potatoes and brown gravy, roast beef sandwich and curly fries from hardees. and... prob a few more things i can't think of right now... :P
what's your favorite qoute?
Eragon
04-12-2008, 11:08 AM
I'm a carnivore so it would probably be a nice thick filet mignon with aspargus in Holandaise sauce, sauteed mushrooms and a baked sweet potato. As it would be my last meal, I wouldn't care about the chemical impact of asparagus on my urinary system.
When it snows, do you brave the weather to get to work or do you stay home in a nice warm bed? Actually, not that warm since the damn dog stole the covers.
Youngbinks
04-12-2008, 11:15 AM
My favorite quote is from a song called "Sick Little Suicide" by the Matches. It's "There's a sick little suicide in all that we do." Dunno why, but I just really like it. As to the snow question, we unfortunately don't have any snow in Florida. Winter is by far my favorite season but we only have winter weather maybe 4 or 5 days a year. It's rather depressing. We do have rain however (and lots of it) and on rainy days I'll typically stay in bed, curled into the fetal position watching movies all day.
Are you a stomach or back sleeper? Side? Hybrid?!
Hayesimus
04-12-2008, 11:17 AM
I sleep in every position imagineable.
but we skipped eragon's question! would you skip work due to weather?
Eragon
04-12-2008, 11:20 AM
In DC, I typically stay home 2-3 times a winter. Something about race car driving in freezing rain that doesn't turn me on. Of course, there are times when the local city rocket scientists plow my street and all the snow is piled in front of my driveway.
Hayesimus
04-12-2008, 11:21 AM

If you could design your own home, what would you want to make sure is included in the design?
Hayesimus
04-12-2008, 12:59 PM
first. I like an all brick home. at least 2 stories. With big columns in the front. The multicar garage would be either in the back or on the side. I just don't want a garage door visible from the road. I also want a driveway that is a circle drive so i don't have to worry about being blocked in. As far as what's on the inside? High ceilings, HUGE bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths. formal dining. living room, den, spacious kitchen with all the latest appliances and a big patio in the backyard with a big pool and yard. i think that's everything. :P

Youngbinks
04-12-2008, 07:37 PM

I really can't point to a single day I would like to change. There have been some bad decisions I've made that yielded less than desirable results. But, if I had to select a single instance, it would be the day I missed my oldest daughter's ultrasound due to a work-crisis.

Buffy

I tend to like small breeds; I have a Yorkie but I'm not sure I'll ever do that again. They are STUBBORN and difficult to train. Westies are cute, also stubborn. I do like Weimaraners or Labs or Greyhounds as big dogs...I'm having a tough time answering this question, can you tell?

Buffy
04-13-2008, 11:45 PM

What's your most interesting "quirk"?
Youngbinks
04-14-2008, 01:15 AM

For me the end of high school wasn't that long ago, so I still want to be now what I wanted to be then, a reconstructive plastic surgeon. I had it when I was younger (the nose story in the other thread).

Yes and I'm quite happy about it. Balding does not seem like it's a fun thing to go through.
Does baldness run in your family?

My dad started balding, but has some connections and had surgery to reverse it. Not that you NEED connections, but I think it was a new method at the time. I have really thick full hair, but who knows what will happen in 40 years.
What kind of kicks do you wear?
