View Full Version : Customize 2.0 problem

Hello I recently installed the customize 2.0 beta and I am having a problem with the themes. When I install a theme, no matter what theme it is, the wallpaper does not show up. I have tried manually setting the wallpaper and it still does not work. I have turned Summerboard on and off and that does not affect it. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Me too....it woulda been pretty sweet as of i saw my friends that worked.. i just said screw it and used summerboard and the old customize..yet i still cant get it to change my logo carrier? anyone?

Why have they not fixed Customize to work with 1.1.4 properly yet? It just seems like a long time for one of the top apps for the iPhone to not be working yet.

good point i mean i have the modded versions that "works". It is not near as good as it used to be....

To activate the wallpaper option, install Summerboard 3.2, select the Customize theme, and make sure that show wallpaper is selected in the options. Then go back to Customize 2.0 and install your theme of choice.

Haha nice. well aleast you solved the problem i just kinda looked at my phone and said screw this and uninstalled it. thanks again

because customize 2.0 is out and A LOT of the developers now arent even working on apps for 1.1.4 and lower they are working on fw2.0 apps

well had the same wallpaper problem and still doesn't seem to work..
i uninstalled smb
then reinstalled it again, made sure customize theme was selected
and i put on wallpaper and theme wallpaper in smb options (on bottom still says summerboard inactive..)
in customize 2.0 i selected the ipear-theme and chose to apply all features
in customize i also made sure summberboard was on and same wallpaper options were chekked
however after restarting everything worked except the wallpaper...
do i need an extra install/fix? am i doing something wrong?
(tryed deleting everyting and restart..didn't help either) thnx!

metjew, I had same problem followed directions below EXACTLY and presto have the wallpaper theme.

thnx but it didn't work either so what i did was connect to my iphone through
winscp..searched the default map of smb and customize (screen was black so thought it went back to original settings) changed that background there ( which was black) with the background of my theme
it worked, now only have to change it everytime i want a new theme grrr but hey it's worth it :)) thnx!
