How many members are there?

I looked down below and it said over 30,000 members. But then i clicked on member list and it said,"diplaying 1-30 of 24,000ish" so... whats the deal?

We have over 30k members. Not sure why it displays 24,000ish.

wow. so I'm worse off than I had suspected... I noticed i'm almost in the top ten posters based merely on amount of posts. Not gonna start that debate over again. But now its out of 30,000+ instead of just 24,000+ :S I need to get a hobby!
