I maanged to download Handbrake on my PC and God bless these guys it actually works and that too for free....But the mother of all problems Itunes plays spoilsport...When I sync, it warns that all pervious movies will be erased...And I want to retain all my old movies...Pls suggest a way out...

Also I managed to convert and transfer one movie to Itunes with the hlep of M2 Convert.(trial) ..how do I get it onto the IPhone..

Help...anyone..??:embarrassed:

The computer is giving you that warning because the movies on your iPhone are not also on your computer. Therefore, it is trying to force you by default to synchronize your library. With iPods, you can get away from this by manually managing files. I'm not sure there is a way other than transferring the movies from the one library to the library where you synced in the first place.

If the movie is in the proper format (MP4, less than 2500 kbps, etc) and is now in your movie library in iTunes, select that title from the list of movies that appears when you sync your iPhone (under the video tab.)

Does the manually manage tick box on the iPhone apply to the movies as well as music? I've never used it so I'm not sure.
