k i've downloaded off seeqpod, but how do they play ? i've went into finder & double tapped and it just takes me back to the next directory..but i goto downloads, i can see it & but won't play when i tap it. but i just realized if i goto modifty & open with AVplayer it does play... is this how its suppose to be??
also when you download a couple audio tracks, is there way to continue to playin songs in the same directory? kinda like a playlist. so you don't have to keep going back into finder after everysong..
and were it says add theses!!
for Video______________
mp4:com.system.avplayer
m4v:com.system.avplayer
3gp:com.system.avplayer
for Audio______________
mp3:com.system.avplayer
aif:com.system.avplayer
do caps matter here??
What are some others?? i'm not sure of file names. wondering if you all could help me out .. all i can think of is .wav and i'm not sure if that is music or video LOL.. love this app all it needs is a audio playlist

Hey, got your PM, sorry I haven't responded yet.
You need to enter the file types exactly how they are listed. Case sensitivity is a big thing on 'nix based OSes.
The only other format I can think of that wasn't listed is m4a, which is what iTunes uses for your purchased audio. AVPlayer will play those file too!
Also, no, there is no playlist feature, but I was wondering if AVPlayer would recognize a playlist if it saw one. I might give this a go later.

No, once you set the file associations in the Settings for Mobile Finder, it will know how to open them every time after that.

I still don't understand why the player just doesn't launch when you double tap a file from mobile finder like it does in my video.
Maybe theres an issue with the preferences being saved or something.

I've only ever tried audio. I was referring to my SafariDL video that shows the AVPlayer working with an mp3 I download.

I think I figured it out.
Double-tapping now works for me if I turn on "System File Access" in MobileFinder Settings. This is off by default.
Enjoy...
