View Full Version : best workout & gym trax for my ipod?

... I need new music: mostly for running but also for a full gym workout... I need some suggestions as I'm tired of listening to the same old stuff. I tend to buy stuff on itunes, not really wanting to mess my computer with the pirate programs.......

check out podrunner (http://www.djsteveboy.com/mixes.html). it's a podcast put out by a DJ and he usually has a theme for each podcast as well as a bpm target. i've used these for running and working out and it's great to have some high-intensity music without having to put together a playlist, and they are each an hour or so long. and the best part is that it's FREE. you can subscribe directly in itunes, or download them from his website...

I find that listening to really fast paced, bass filled music really gets me in the mood to do anything physical. I would recommend some tracks by DJ Tiesto or Benny Benassi. There's actually a pretty decent compilation on iTunes. It's called Ibiza Trance Anthems 2007 and it has 50 songs for $9.99 if you purchase the album, a pretty good deal.

yeah I agree, it's just a lot easier to download from itunes then mess around with other stuff.....
