On the stats at the bottom of the site it lists 29,000 members and 4,000 "active" members. How do you determine this number?

I suppose the members that have zero posts and have been that way for some time are counted as inactive. There are quite a few (http://www.everythingicafe.com/forum/members/list/).

I would assume that's what it means by inactive as well. That or perhaps they haven't posted within a certain time frame, like a month or so. It's good to see 4,000 active members.

Guess it depends what is considered active. One post a day? one a week? Who knows.

Honestly, I'm sure myself. It's a base setting somewhere the depths of the forum admin control panel.

Well thats a great amount of active members. 4000 people that crazy. I would determine an active person as one who posts frequently throughout the week =\

I assume that was supposed to be 'I'm not sure myself"?

Okay, I got off my virtual lazy ... and it's based upon members who have visited the site within a specific timeframe. ie. # of days. As for the number, that's EIC classified.

if you go inactive doesnt anything happen to your account, or does it just go active again the next time you sign on? i travel a lot over seas, sometimes for more than a month, during which time i usually dont get online.
