wouldn't it be great if there was a way to place other shortcuts on the iPhone front screen. For example I would love a way to switch on/off Bluetooth and wifi from the front screen. Are there options like this for jailbroken phones?

I've often wished for the very same thing. I would rather have shortcuts than the webclips.

Closest option right now if you're jailbroken is an app like BossPrefs - once it's launched, you can toggle On/Off Bluetooth, WiFi, SSH etc. with one tap ...
