okay in the settings options in the mail/messaging/text..
u can see how much lines u can preview from 1-7 when a message pops up (text)

i now put it on NONE or ONE, and it still shows over that. like five lines and stuff.


is this a glitch>?

There's something wrong with your phone. Maybe you should reboot it and then change the settings. I just tried it with mine. When you change it to None, it will still show the subject line of the email. When you set it to preview two lines, it will show two lines from the email body in addition to the subject line.
