iphone auto update time????

Was just wondering as the clocks go forward here GMT (not sure if they go forward everywhere else) does the iphone automatically update the time or do I have to do it manually. If I manually do it before I go to bed, will it update itself again meaning ill wake up an hour late???

It will change automatically. Just make sure your time zone is set correctly.

this is gonna sound daft! but does the worlds clocks all change at the same time or different! its like the toilet question.....which way does your water....dont matter

It will,trust me. We had our time change in early March for some reason and our 2 iphones changed automatically.

The iPhone will set itself automatically. The phone (like most phones these days) pulls it's time from the cell towers and sets the clock on the phone accordingly. Now I do now on my phone I have an option to have it automatically set the time or not (this is firmware 2.0 so it might not be on 1.1.4 I can't remember). I'd check to see if you have that setting and if so make sure it's set to automatically set it.

termleech is correct. The time comes from your provider and not from the phone.
